Geneva Wood Fuels - About Us

Geneva Wood Fuels is a producer of premium grade hardwood pellet fuel. Our wood pellet plant is located in Strong Maine where we employ 15 professionals in raw material receiving and processing, pellet production, packaging and distribution. We also help to support another 50 jobs in forest harvesting and distribution. Our annual production capacity is greater than 80,000 tons.

Geneva Wood Fuels firmly believes that the bulk market for wood pellets will drive tremendous growth for our company and industry as a whole. We have recently invested in a new 300 ton capacity bulk pellet storage silo and a delivery truck.

Our Wood Pellets

Wood pellets are used by approximately one million homes in the United Sates to fuel primary or secondary heating appliances. They are purchased primarily in a forty pound bag but the bulk market for wood pellets is growing every day. Wood pellets compete with traditional heating fuels including oil and propane as well other renewable fuels including corn.
